Our Aerial Yoga class is a combination of traditional yoga poses and postures practiced using a soft fabric suspended at waist height, allowing students to achieve proper postural alignment in exciting new ways. In this class, you will sample various exercises that will promote a deep understanding of your body through an adventurous and restorative practice. You will develop core, upper and lower body strength, flexibility, motor dynamics, spinal alignment, endurance, reflex response, balance, and somatic awareness. Special Instructions for Participants:
Please Arrive 10 minutes early to fill out a safety waiver. Please wear layered comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion, footless tights or sweat pants are recommended. Please remove all rings, bracelets, scarves or other accessories that may snag the aerial tissu prior to class.
