April Follies-
April Follies Same-Sex Ballroom Competition and Show

Event Image

Now in its 15th year, April Follies is the longest-running same-sex ballroom competition in North America. A full day of competition in Ballroom, Latin, social dances and more, by same-sex couples! You'll see salsa, cha-cha, samba, tango, quickstep, jive, country 2-step and much more. Most of the larger "mainstream" ballroom competitions do not allow same-sex couples to compete, so this is a rare chance to see what queer dancers and our allies in this community can do. Participate or spectate! This year's post-competition show and dance is themed "Cabaret", after the iconic 1972 movie, and will feature pieces by the most advanced dancers in this community, as well as fun and saucy pieces by our own Kit Kat Girls. Following the show is a social dance for all to join in!

Special Instructions for Participants:
