Get ready to MOVE! This class is high energy and gets you up and following along to basic jazz dance fundamentals right from the warm up. Pop music, current and classic dance movements, flexibility, isolations and increasing strength throughout the body are some of the core aims of the class.
The class starts with a warm up and goes right into teaching across the floor combinations to challenge your mind and coordination. The class culminates with a center combination to work on your sense of play to music and artistic expression.
Special Instructions for Participants:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the class start time to sign in. Ballet slippers, socks, or jazz shoes are appropriate (PLEASE do NOT wear dance sneakers). Athletic wear or jazz dance clothing is welcome :)
